Dr. John Oakes gave a sermon as an intro to a series on Acts in San Diego 4/29/8.  The lesson focuses on the Holy Spirit in Acts, on the growth of the New Testament Church and on the elements of that amazing growth.  The theme verse is Acts 1:8–to Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria and the ends of the earth. The elements of this revolution were 1. A Jesus movement 2. Great evidence 3. Radically changed lives 4. Answered the important questions 5. Helped the poor and the outcast and 6.
