In Christian terms, can you give me a explanation of whether people are
born homosexual or not? I have a hard time understanding whether there’s a
cause to people becoming homosexual or if God made them homosexual from
the beginning of their life?

I do not think that babies are homosexual. I am not sure that I
can quote a single scripture which directly answers your question. Let me
mention a couple of scriptures which may help point the way.

When tempted, no one should say “God is tempting me.” For God cannot be
tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone; but each one is tempted when,
by his own evil desire, he is dragged away and enticed. Then, after
desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is
full-grown, gives birth to death. (James 1:13-15)

No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is
faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But
when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand
up under it. (1 Corinthians 10:13)

God does not make anyone sin. It is our evil desires which cause
us to be tempted and when we give in to those desires by our own decision
that we sin. Homosexuality is clearly a sin according to the Bible
(Romans 1:26.27). Therefore, according to 1 Corinthians 10:13, it is
possible to be tempted with homosexuality but to resist it. The same can
be said about premarital sex between members of the opposite sex.

This still does not make your question go away. Are some people
born with a greater tendency toward homosexuality? Is the tendency toward
homosexuality at least in part a genetic trait? I would say that from a
scientific point of view, this is possible. Some people are genetically
more predisposed to alcoholism than others. Some are genetically more
predisposed toward fits of rage than others. Research has proven these
claims. In my opinion, for what it is worth, it is entirely possible that
some are genetically more predisposed toward homosexuality than others.
Each person is different. Each person is tempted by certain things more
than others. Each person is required by God to deal with their personal
temptations by turning to him for strength and by repenting if we do give
in in some way. I believe homosexuality is no different from other sins
in this way. Some may be more predisposed to that particular sin than
others, but in any case, God requires us to repent and to avoid giving in
to sin. Homosexuality is not more sinful than other sins, but it is
apparent that this “lifestyle” is more difficult to turn back from than
many other sins. That is one reason to radically turn from any temptation
to give in to this sin. Bottom line, homosexual acts are a choice. Even
if one person is more predisposed to it than another, the decision to
commit sinful sexual acts is just that…. a personal decision which must
be repented of in order to come into a relationship with God.

Followers of Jesus should not treat homosexuals with prejudice or
hatred. They should be treated with love and respect as should any other
sinner–a person in need of the saving grace of Jesus Christ. I hope this
helps.
