Comment:

I googled “Is Darius the Mede real?” and your article was #1 on the list.
https://evidenceforchristianity.org/if-darius-the-mede-daniel-6-is-a-real-person-why-does-the-cambridge-history-of-judaism-not-mention-him-as-it-lists-all-the-rulers-of-bablyon-after-the-persian-conquest/
But your article did not have the amazing and powerful evidence that is now available. So I want to share it with you. You can talk directly to the author of the book himself (I recommend it) to work out any questions you may have. It’s here:

Thanks!

Response:

All I can say is thanks for sending me this information and the article. I have read it and found it to be a great addition to the material on Darius the Mede. It is fair to say that it looks as though it is likely the “mystery” surrounding the identity of Darius the Mede is solved. Of course, I am not at all surprised that Daniel turns out to be reliable history once again, as was the case with Belshazzar and all the other historical references in Daniel.  Thanks much.  To the reader, the article is available at the second link as a PDF. I recommend you read it if you have an interest in the Book of Daniel.
