Comment:

I have been questioning reformed theology for a few years. I have many books with historical evidence to show others why it’s heresy. I am in need of a deluxe Deep Bible study to combat this disease called reformed theology. Historically, I have traced back to Zwingli as one of the main culprits in baptism becoming “not essential for salvation” and now I would like to find someone’s work that can help me spread this info better.

This is a Q & A forum, so please send a question if you have one.  It is good to see a warrior for the truth like yourself.  I have been on a similar journey and reached similar conclusions as you have.  You are right to trace reformed theology back to Zwingli–even more so than Calvin.  It was Zwingli who first conceived of the idea of baptism being an outward sign of an inward grace.  He used the analogy between baptism and circumcision to “prove” (falsely) that baptism is a symbol of something God has already done.   The best I am aware, this doctrine was not taught by anyone before Zwingli.  That alone is sufficient to prove that it is not a Christian doctrine.  That and the Bible evidence of course!!!  We did a seminar on baptism a few years back.  You might want to look that up.  Here is a link:   https://evidenceforchristianity.org/the-meaning-of-baptism-jack-cotrell-audio/   You may also want to read Cottrell’s book on baptism, as well as Everett Ferguson’s which is the Bible of the doctrine of baptism, as I understand it.
You will find 4000+ articles at my web site, so there is no shortage of material.  Enjoy.
