I am sorry to say that as far as I know, there is no outside reference to this
event.? One could assume logically that the Jews would not have published this
embarrassing occurrence in any of their writings.? Most likely, they did not
go out of their way to let the Romans in on it either, so we are left with the
only logical source of this information, which is the early Jewish converts
to Christianity.
