“What needs were answered by Christianity?” Please help me out.

I will do something different from my usual pattern, and
simply quote Bible verses in answer to your question.

Romans 3:23-25 There is no difference, for all have sinned and fall short
of the glory of God, and are justified freely by his grace through the
redemption that came by Jesus. God presented him as a sacrifice of
atonement, through faith in his blood.

Romans 5:1 Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have
peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained
access by faith into this grace in which we now stand.

Romans 5:9,10 Since we have now been justified by his blood, how much
more shall we be saved from God’s wrath through him! For if, when we were
God’s enemiew, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how
much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life!

Ephesians 2:1-8 As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and
sins, in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world
and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work
in those who are disobedient. All of us also lived among them at one
time, gratifying the cravings of our sinful nature and following its
desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature objects of wrath.
But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us
alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions–it is by grace
you have been saved. And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with
him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming
ages he might show the imcomparagle riches of his grace, expressed in his
kindness to us in Christ Jesus. For it is by grace you have been saved,
through faith–and not from yourselves, it is the gift of God.

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal
life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

1 John 2:1,2 My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not
sin. But if anybody does sin, we have one who speaks to the Father in our
defense—Jesus Christ the Righteous One. He is the atoning sacrifice for
our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world.

Mark 10:29,30 “I tell you the truth,” Jesus replied, “no one who has left
home or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or fields for
me and the gospel will fail to receive a hundred times as much in this
present age (homes, etc.) and in the age to come, eternal life.

John 10:7-9 Therefore Jesus said again, “I tell you the truth, I am the
gate for the sheep. All who ever came before me were thieves and robbers,
but the sheep did not listen to them. I am the gate; whoever enters
through me will be saved. He will come in and go out and find pasture.
The thief comes only to steal and to kill and destroy; I have come that
they may have life, and have it to the full.”

Through Christianity, all our wants may not be fulfilled, but all of our
needs are fulfilled in abundance in this life and in the end, through
Jesus Christ, those who follow him will receive eternal life with God.
This sounds like a pretty good bargain to me.
