Question: Why do you think about the Song of Songs in the Bible which talks about adultery? Answer:  The Song of Songs is not about adultury.   It is about physical love between a man and a woman.   There is no adultery here at all.  I do not know who told you that there is adultery in this book, but if so, they are wrong.   Song of Songs is a beautiful love poem between lovers.   Some are rather prudish about sex, but the Bible is not.  Sex between a man and woman in love and married to one another is a beautiful thing and this poem is a celebration of this godly love. John Oakes
