Muhammad can taunt whomever he likes. As Christians, we turn the other cheek to those who persecute us, and this includes unbelievers like Muhammad. Did Muhammad have Christians in mind in this taunt, or did he have someone else in mind? I do not know, but, as a Christian, I am used to being taunted by unbelievers like Muhammad. I know of no direct reference in the Bible to God coming “in the shadows of the clouds, together with the angels.” Matthew 25:31 mentions God coming with the angels, but does not mention the clouds. That is the closest I could find to the Koran statement in sura 2. Also, Isaiah 25:5 talks about the shadows of the clouds, but does not mention angels. But, then again, Muhammad’s knowledge of the New Testament was limited.
I say let Muhammad taunt whom he will. This is not my problem as a Christian.
