EFC Newsletter 1/26/2021
Dear EFC subscribers;
To tell you the truth, it has been a slow month for me–not that I have not been busy, but that I have produced relatively little new material. However, we got some really great questions this month, so this newsletter will primarily feature some fun and interesting questions and answers.
New Material:
Nevertheless, there is some new material. I have completed the series of ten sermons from the Book of Luke. The notes and power point for the entire series is here: https://evidenceforchristianity.org/freedom-in-christ-bakersfield-2/ Also at that link are twelve new sermons from the Gospel of John. I also published an exegesis of Hosea 11:1-12:6 Exegesis of Hosea 11:1-12:6
2021 ICOC Teachers Conference Telios
The ICOC teachers service committee, on which I serve, is putting on our second annual Christian teacher’s conference. It will be offered entirely online. The theme of the conference is “Let Justice Roll Like a River.” It is on a Christian view of social justice. The lineup of speakers is truly amazing, including civil rights icon Fred Grey, Steve Kinnard, Robert Carrillo and much more. The dates are March 4-6. Register at teliossociety.com Here is the flyer for more info or to register. Let Justice Roll Like a River
Q & As
What should I think about the fact that the number of Christians is getting less and less?
How did Moses know what to write in Genesis?
What is Kabbalah? Is it Gnosticism? Mysticism?
Enjoy and see you next month.
