Hello to our ARS subscribers.  It is a busy month for us.  We want to remind you of several upcoming events.

First, we have our class, The Meaning of Baptism. Thanks so much to Kedron Jones for putting together this event. If you do not live in Southern California, at this late date you will probably not be able to attend, but we will be making the audio and video available almost immediately after the seminar through DisciplesToday (www.disciplestoday.org) and through the EFC web site.  Please check back soon after the conference so that you can get access to the entire event. The Apologetics Research Society will be hosting a 10 hour weekend seminar on the Doctrine of Baptism taught by Dr. Jack Cottrell Professor of Theology at Cincinnati Christian University (a Restoration Movement School) and author of several books such as Baptism: A Biblical Study.

When: Friday, September 16^th from 6:00pm to 9:30 p.m. and Saturday, September 17^th from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00pm.

2016 ICEC York College, York, Nebraska Nov 11-13

Second, we are really excited about our upcoming 2016 International Christian Evidence Conference.  History, Arcaeology and Christianity.

The theme of this year’s conference will be the evidence from History and Archaeology which supports the reliability and the message of Old and New Testaments.  The dates will be Nov 11-13.  The conference will begin on Friday morning.  Speakers already committed to coming include Dr. Mark Ziese, Dr. Robert Kurka, Dr. John Oakes, Dan Conder, Foster Stanback, Brian Colon and more.  The conference will also feature the brand new John Clayton Museum of Ancient History, which is on York College.   The cost of the conference will be $80 per person and $40 for college students.  We will be publishing a more detailed schedule in the near future.  For more information or to register, contact Jan Oakes at joakes01@san.rr.com

Class: The Reliability and Inspiration of the Bible

Dr. John Oakes will be teaching a five week series on The Reliability and Inspiration of the Bible on five consecutive Saturdays, beginning October 1st from 9:00-10:45 AM. The classes will be in San Diego at the Murphy Canyon Youth Center 4067 Santo Road #32 San Diego CA 92124.  The cost for the entire series, including light refreshments, is $20.  For more information or to register, contact Jan Oakes at joakes01@san.rr.com  Class Outline is below.  For those not living in San Diego, we will be making the outline, power point and audio available at the EFC web site.
