Question:

Please explain the contradiction between Acts9:7 and 22:9.

Answer:

Acts 9:7 (NIV) “The men traveling with Saul stood there speechless; they
heard the sound but did not see anyone.”

Acts 22:9 (NIV) “My companions saw the light, but they did not understand
the voice of him who was speaking ot me.”

I do not understand what the perceivedcontradition could be in this case.
The companions heard a great noise and saw a great light. However, they
did not see the “person” speaking to Paul. Neither could they understand
the words spoken. They knew something extraordinary had happened, but did
not see or understand. Perhaps God somehow allowed Paul to see and
understand what they could not.
