Please what are the Jewish customs that are still binding on us Christians today?
This goes down as my easiest question this week. None. Period. Not one. We are not subject to the Law of Moses. Jesus fulfilled the Law (Matthew 5:17) so that we are not obligated to the Law of Moses. Jesus put an end to obligation to the law, whether it is a worldly law of a Jewish custom. In Colossians 2:13-23 we are specifically told that we are no longer obligated to the Law, and, specifically, Sabbath and Jewish festivals are mentioned. There are things that are commanded in the Old Testament that we are still to obey, but this is because it is something Jesus told us to do, not because it was in the Law of Moses. For example, we are still to not covet our neighbor’s wife and we are to worship God only. This is true because it falls under what we are commanded in the New Testament.
