Question:
What evidence you have for the Book of Mormon, Doctrine and Covernants and Pearl of Great Price as I couldn’t find any on your web site.
Answer:
You do not find evidence for the Book of Mormon, the Doctrine and Covenants and the Pearl of Great Price at my web site because I am convinced that these books, written by Joseph Smith, with some help from Brigham Young and later Mormon "prophets" are not the inspired Word of God. There is no good evidence that these are scripture. If you go to the site and do a search for the word Mormon, you will find an outline and power point on Mormonism. You will also find a synopsis of the Book of Mormon. Here I make it clear that Joseph Smith was no prophet and that the Book of Mormon is not, as Mormons claim, the Word of God. It is not another "testament" of Jesus Christ, but a fraud and a mockery of Christianity. I have read the entire Book of Mormon. It is like a poorly written grade B religious fantasy. It has people getting baptized in the name of Jesus Christ before he lived and died. It has people observing the Law of Moses as Christians after being baptized into Christ. It has supposed historical details that are absolutely impossible to reconcile with current archaeological evidence. Joseph Smith’s theology is an abomination and certainly does not deserve to be called Christian. He has God being formerly a human and holds out the possibility that we, too, may be like God one day. He claimed that Jesus had more than one wife. Such teachings do not deserve positive treatment in a Christian Evidences web site.
So, you definitely will not find evidence supporting the Book of Mormon, or the D & C or the Pearl of Great Price at my web site.
