We do not normally repost the work of others at this web site, but in this case we are making an exception.  In a recent youtube post, Islamic scholar and apologist Jay Smith gives a presentation in which he challenges nearly every assumption on which the entire religion of Islam is founded. He questions virtually the entire biographical narrative about Muhammad. His very presence in Mecca is left in some doubt, as is the importance of Mecca in early Islam. As for the Qur’an, the idea that it is the perfect, unchanged Word of God is utterly destroyed by the detailed, scholarly, fact-based arguments presented by Jay Smith.  I cannot necessarily ascribe to all of Smith’s conclusions, as I will need to do some more research.  However, Smith does a masterful job of doing to Muslims what they so ineptly attempt regularly to do to Christians, which is to debunk their historical narrative and the reliability of their scriptural texts.  This is a must-see video which I strongly encourage you to view.    It can be viewed here Smith Debunks Islam and the Qur’an   or here:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U5c-d1pNnvs&ab_channel=PfanderFilms
